HANDMADE SCISSORS

Our Line scissors hairdressing scissors are handmade and go through more than 180 production stages. These production phases differ depending on the steel used and also on the place of production. Thanks to our many years of expertise, we have awarded our scissors a steel quality label and these are printed on the inside of the cutting edge:

Scissors are manufactured in 2 ways:

  • The 'Wirecut technique'

  • The “Forging” technique.

Depending on the steel used, one of these techniques is used! Each Line scissors hairdressing scissors consists of a handle of a different steel type that is welded to the cutting edge. This gives the opportunity to perfectly balance the scissors after a repair or a sharpening! Based on our experience, we actively contribute to the improvement of the hand positions in order to strive for perfect ergonomics

The maintenance of hairdressing scissors:

 

Our 5 point scheme is of utmost importance. If you do not maintain your scissors according to the rule below, this can lead to permanent damage to both your scissors and your hands.​

  1. Adjusting your scissors.

  2. Oil and clean your scissors.

  3. Use of an appropriate cleaning cloth or rather 'chamoize'

  4. Use of an alcohol-based cleaning fluid, such as isopropyl alcohol.

Lifetime Warranty:

 

We offer a 100% lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. With this guarantee, your scissors are 100% guaranteed. Scissors that are improperly sharpened or damaged by a non LINE-SCISSORS authorized scissor sharpener or scissors that have been poorly maintained, misused and/or excessively worn are not covered by this warranty!!

 

To qualify for our warranty service, it is extremely important to care for and maintain your scissors according to the professional explanation ( Maintain scissors). Any defects or missing parts caused by incorrect or careless use by the hairdresser will be repaired or replaced at the user's expense.
